Zdeněk Suchitra, Smurfit Kappa

Zdeněk Suchitra graduated from the Institute of Chemical Technology in Prague. He completed his economic education with an MBA in finance and marketing from De Paul University in Chicago. He started his career in FCMG at Unilever. Here he gained his first experience with corporate life and people management, mainly in positions in purchasing and logistics. After five years, he was lured by suppliers of paper packaging. He has been in the business for 22 years and has led a wide range of paper-packaging businesses including several start-ups. The speed and variety of this industry is still very fulfilling to him.
