Pavel Vinkler, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic
He has worked at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic since 2005. He has been mainly involved in business support, strategy preparation, and the implementation of specific support programs for entrepreneurs (subsidy programs, financial instruments). Since 2017, he has been the director of the Department of Business Environment and Commercial Entrepreneurship, where he is responsible for streamlining the business environment in the Czech Republic, reducing the administrative burden on entrepreneurs, and overseeing the commercial entrepreneurship agenda. Since 2019, he has also served as the first deputy chairman of the Quality Council of the Czech Republic and the deputy chief director of the Economic Department. Recently, he has also been involved in supporting entrepreneurs in terms of compensation for increased energy costs, the Obchůdek 2021+ program, the digitalization of payments under the Czech Republic Pays by Card project, and the preparation of key digital projects such as the Information Obligations Database, the Unified Portal of Inspection Records, and the Entrepreneur Portal.
