Ondřej Beneš, Veolia Czech Republic

Ing. Ondřej Beneš, Ph.D., MBA, LLM., completed his master’s and doctoral studies at the Institute of Water and Environmental Technology. During his doctoral studies, he supplemented his education with a master’s degree, also at the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague, majoring in economics and industrial management. After completing his doctoral studies, he joined Anglian Water, where he rose to the position of operations manager in just two years. His next steps brought him back to the Czech Republic, specifically to the company Veolia Voda, where he served in several positions – from the position of director of Středočeské vodárny, through director of Severočeské vodovody a kanalizace, to technical and sales director for the water activity of the Veolia group in the Czech Republic. Today, this amounts to over 2.6 million inhabitants supplied with drinking water in the Czech Republic alone.
