Penny Market: Ecological shop Skuteč
The Penny store in Skuteč is the first all-wooden store of this type in the Czech Republic, in the construction of which CLT wood, BSH beams and ThermoWood wooden facades were used. At the same time, the store is equipped with economical EasyCool cooling and air conditioning technology with ecological coolant. From the spring of 2023, the roof PV will also take care of the reduction of energy consumption, further reduction of consumption is provided by LED lights for external and internal lighting. The store will also offer customers charging of electric cars at a charging station. At the same time, the surroundings are being modified, when 3,350 m2 of flowery meadows will be created, complete with bushes, and 20 new trees will be planted. In the spring, beehives and insect houses will be installed to support bee colonies and insects that pollinate plants.
